Pool Service in East Houston, TX

Weekly maintenance, repair, and renovation along the I-10 East corridor. A family-owned pool company that knows older east-side pools — and how to keep them running.

The East Side of Houston Has Its Own Pool Culture

East Houston — the neighborhoods along I-10 East, the Market Street corridor, Denver Harbor, Clinton Park, Jacinto City, and out toward Channelview and the Ship Channel — is full of pools that don't look like the glossy new builds in the Energy Corridor. A lot of them are original 1970s and 80s gunite pools on their second or third plaster. Many were built well, and many just need someone who knows how to work on them and isn't trying to sell a full rebuild.

P-Jay's Pools is a Baytown-headquartered family company. Our weekly routes run west along I-10 through east Houston, which means we're the opposite of the big chain pool companies driving techs in from the west side. We show up consistently, explain what we see, and recommend the work that's actually warranted — whether that's a single chemistry correction, a salt cell replacement, or a full plaster renovation.

What We Do in East Houston

  • Weekly Pool Maintenance — consistent routes along the I-10 East corridor, flat-rate or a-la-carte plans.
  • Pool Repair — older-equipment specialists; pumps, heaters, filters, leaks, automation, salt systems, lighting.
  • Pool Renovation — especially relevant in east Houston; tile, plaster, coping, deck resurfacing, and spa additions on older pools.
  • Custom Pool Construction — new builds where the lot allows.

Older Pools Are a Specialty, Not a Problem

A lot of pool companies quietly prefer new-build clients because legacy pools are harder — non-standard plumbing layouts, obsolete equipment brands, plaster that's been patched three times, deck tile nobody makes anymore. We grew up working on exactly these pools across Baytown and east Houston. We know which 1980s pump brands are worth saving and which to replace, how to diagnose a leak in old 1.5" PVC without ripping up the deck, and when a plaster chip is cosmetic versus a real structural flag. If your east Houston pool is on its second or third life, that's a fit.
